Welcome to NESCafe Web

Put aside that Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and remember what computer video games used to be like when you were growing up. Back then, games were more than pretty computer graphics on your plasma or LCD television - video games were about having excellent, engaging game-play! The Nintendo video games that you will find on this website introduced many of the concepts of video games that you see copied in todays Playstation, Xbox and Wii games, and in doing so they set the standard for years to come. So sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best game-play you will have seen in years!

This site is home to the NESCafe Nintendo Emulator for Java. The NESCafe emulator allows you to play your old 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System games online in any web browser, rather than just at home on your television. NESCafe allows users to save their progress online as they play their video games so that scores and progress are never lost. You can also pause and rewind your games, just like you can with your television programs on your DVR! With games like the original Super Mario Brothers and Punch-out available you will be throwing that Playstation away in no time!

Once you've played some of these Nintendo NES classics maybe you would like to test your skills with other online games against real people. You could always start with MMO (massively multiplayer online game, also called MMOG or simply MMO) games, or maybe something with a smaller user group but equally as challenging like online poker. If you have never played before we could recommend you check out pokerlistings.com, they have great strategy guides that will help ease you into play and become a great contender, maybe like Matt Damon from Rounders, but without the loan sharks :-)
